Team Merge Failed

I'm attempting to merge https://ctftime.org/team/127836 into https://ctftime.org/team/109415. The first one was accidentally created and used for a few events historically. And I'd like to keep it because it's the full name of the team even if not every platform allows it's usage. However, when I attempt to merge, the site returns, "You can't merge teams participated in events later than 2 weeks after the event ends"

I understand that deleting teams is not an option nor can I add the alias Code[&Pwn] to https://ctftime.org/team/109415 because the name is in use.

What do I need to do to merge these teams?

You can only merge teams 2 weeks after the "mistaken" event.

Okay. Does that mean if the name "Code[&Pwn]" as written in accidentally created team is used in a new event and I submit the request two weeks has elapsed, I'll be able to merge the two teams?
