Unable to join team as first member

I tried joining my team after it was automatically created by ctftime.org for CTFs going back to 2015, request is still pending for a couple of weeks (Initial Request 11/5/2021). my ctftime username: cndeweese team name: SolarCAT

I have the same issue, I made a team and participated directly through a CTF's website, which must have created a team automatically in CTFTime. Now my team is sitting in CTFTime without any members and I can't join it.

~~I have the same issue. Was this resolved for any of you?~~ Issue was resolved for me by asking on twitter. I don't think that's optimal though. 😅

~~I'm still having this issue 3 months later, anybody knows what I can do? I have also sent a message through CTFTime.~~ EDIT: Well, looks like writing on Twitter was the way to go, was allowed to join them now.
