Team Deleted / Lost due to Name Alias Change

Hi, I run a high school Cyber Security team in Chicago. I had about 30 members on a team and we competed under our CTFtime team name known as JCP Monkeys. We had about 3 seperate aliases. I pressed the button to make JCPwn be our new main alias and now the team seems to be gone?

I created a new team JCPwn and I can invite everyone over to the new team but what will happen to our CTF results this year? I have screen shots of our placings in tournaments if that helps. The students are pretty bummed out about this.

Hi, there was a nasty bug which could delete a team while alias removal. I've tried to fix it, but you need to add aliases and join the team again :(

We have to change the name due to school policy. That is why the bug happened, so I am scared to change the name myself. I want to change our Alias from JCP Monkeys to JCPwn.

I could not merge them because it says both teams competed in DeadFace. I tried creating JCPwn again, and now I can't create JCPwn because it is already created with no members, since I left.
