Can't flash RWM-200.app (https://templates.blakadder.com/visortech_RWM-200_app.html)

Hi.

I'm trying to flash above mentioned device, but it fails, timing out for the device to reconnect after smart config. It almost looks as if the device just turns itself off at this point, but I'm not sure about that. Given that it apparently used to work with tuya-convert, and that it also doesn't look like it's a newer firmware issue judging from the PSK, I wonder what else is going on?

Thanks!

Edit. Just realized this:

https://github.com/ct-Open-Source/tuya-convert/issues/919

looks very similar (device also seems to be the same vendor judging from the mac address)

Hi @infocfc,

It does look like you and #919 have the same issue. We'll need to reverse engineer the dynamic config API.

I'll have to circle back once I have a device like this, or a copy of the firmware.

Let me know if I can help. I still have one brandnew of those devices, I'd even offer to send it to you.

However, there seems to be another issue going on, which may confuse a lot of people and blur some issues. It seems that there is currently a general issue running tuya-convert on current raspberry buster versions, at least on a Raspberry 3B, and the symptoms this causes are very similar. I had a leftover Gosund SP1 from a 4-pack set where I previously had 3 others flashed succesfully, that I was trying to flash today with a brandnew Image and tuya-convert installed on a Raspberry 3B. Didn't work, with very similar symptoms. I then went back to an older Raspi 4 Image I was using to flash the other 3 (which I luckily hadn't deleted or reused yet), and it flashed the same device right away without a hitch.

No difference though with the fire alarms, doesn't work on that older Image either.

While I was trying with different timings and different methods to put the device in pairing mode, I noticed that the device sometimes, apparently after receiving the intermediate firmware spawns a smartlife-XXXX wlan, and sometimes a ESP-XXXXX Wlan, depending how and when I put it into pairing mode, and when and how it connecty to tuya-convert. Odd.

Can confirm it's not working with the latest rasperian image (Release date: October 30th 2021) It is working with 2021-05-07
