HID guardian don't seem to be doing its job

The app itself works as expected, I can see how the virtual device shows up on "Devices and printers" and it's working there if I test it.

The physical controller should be hidden by HID Guardian when the emulation starts, right? Well, it's not happening. The physical device is still there and the games seem to be detecting both virtual and physical inputs. XOutput reports that HID Guardian is working, but it's not. Even if I set/remove the device to be handled by HID Guardian.

My controller is a Genius MaxFire G12U Vibration. I'm trying to play Oblivion, All Zombies Must Die!, LIMBO, some indie unity games, FallOut 3, Skyrim and some other games which only recognizes X360 controllers.

I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit.

I wasn't able to make HidGuardian and XOutput work together. However, I was able to achieve the same thing with HidHide, which is the successor to HidGuardian. Check the installation instructions here: https://vigem.org/projects/HidHide/Simple-Setup-Guide/ You only need to whitelist the XOutput app and then both the emulated and real controller will appear in HidHide, and you will be able to ignore the real one.
