Xoutput freezes with my driver installed

Xoutput works completely fine without my controller driver installed but without it, xoutput wont detect the rumble motors on my controller according to a few replies I saw on the issues page. I installed the driver software which came in a disc and after installing it if I try to open xoutput the program opens, my mouse freezes and then it crashes.

I am attaching all the files in the driver disc below. The disc has an instruction docx, the driver itself and a folder with directx 9 bcs it looks like it needs directx 7 or above to run for some reason and even gives a warning to have it installed before installing the driver. (the file is temporarily available for a month from the day of posting this.)

In the controller software that the disc gives it has rumble and everything and it works. I would love to know why xoutput is crashing with this installed and how I can fix it. Quarantine has been mind bendingly horrible and im very bored so im just trying some random crap. I could just grab my two dualshock fours but I am curious to see if this can work. I could tell my friends to just get one of these and play rocket league or something I guess. Anyway, thats all I have to say lol.

Try disabling automatic device status detection in settings
