Controller is not recognized by XOutput anymore

I have a major issue since the Windows update in march. My wireless Gamepad is not recognized by XOutput anymore. It is not listed in the input devices, nor can I use it to edit an added controller setting. I can press any buttons on the controller while in the configuration mode it will not be recognized as signal. However, Windows itself recognizes my gamepad as such now (which wasn't the case before) but that doesn't help me because in games it still won't work. I have been using XOutput for about 2 years and also with this gamepad it has always worked flawlessly, but since that march update not anymore. I tested my old USB gamepad to see if it was an issue in general, but that one still works, just my wireless one does not. Has anyone experienced a similar issue with wireless gamepads and could help me fix it?
