Logitech G29 accelerator cannot be detected

Open Rukibb opened this issue 6 years ago • 3 comments

I have the same problem with #73 The G29 accelerator is working in games but not detected in XOutput. Besides there is a high cpu usage, it always rise to 23% suddenly, causing significant input lag. My cpu is i5 7600. XOutput.log

Same issue for me. Tried in both default and combined pedals mode. Everything else registers fine.

Until this is resolved, I did a little workaround. Since the clutch and brake pedals work and I'm not using clutch anyway (don't have a stick), I decided to swap pedals around.

  1. open the board (video tutorial); should come right off, there are no plastic clamps
  2. swap clutch / accelerator cables around, or
  3. if you can't unplug the cables (mine are stuck for some reason), swap clutch / accelerator positions and then swap their spring and plate (all other pedal components are the same anyways)

hey all with this issue (and csutorasa if you're reading this) - i have found that v3.18 works perfectly with g29 throttle pedal, and only v3.19+ are affected (i have the issue where the axis is showing up but permanently reading 0, but only in v3.19+) as a temporary workaround, roll back to an older non-affected version. csutorasa - if you're still having trouble fixing this (i have not checked v4 developer builds so you may well have solved this issue), it is something that was changed in v3.19.
