.grid--middle on a single .grid__item

Strange. Looks like a grid needs to contain at least two .grid__item to make .grid--middle work.

The .grid--middle on the .grid adds a vertical-align: middle to the directly nested .grid__items. That means all nested grid items will align vertically, but only on the middle of the highest grid item. If you only have one grid item you won't see any changes as it just has it's own "100%" height.
