can't jump to next word in one of example quotes

This is the origin quote I found in wpm/data/examples.json.gz:

and This is the problem I found when I was typing:

I can't jump to next word with the space key, and the reason I found is there is a typo \t between he and says,. I am not sure if this is my misunderstanding.
