Thanks for all the input. Did anybody try 2.4-2? I noticed that @Antiz96 switched to a source tarball for 2.4.1 and running `./autogen.sh` for the package and wonder if that...
> Ok so the source switch is not the cause apparently, right? Seems like it, yes. Also `blueman-git` being affected as well is an argument against that. Nobody tried 2.4,...
You see an `Audio Profiles for ...` item without a sub menu and that's 100 % reproducible when the device initiates the connection but 0 % when you do from...
So `blueman-applet` provides a proper sub menu to `blueman-tray` and `blueman-tray` uses the StatusNotifierItem implementation. Any data from the tray, e.g. with `xfce4-panel --restart`?
Please `killall blueman-tray` and run `blueman-tray --loglevel debug` to double check the implementation, but I assume `StatusNotifierItem`. Does `xfce4-panel` log something e.g. to `~/.xsession-errors`?
This lacks information for four months now. You're welcome to contribute.
Unfortunately that's a rather old version of blueman. AppIndicator did get replaced in 2.3. The AppIndicator plugin used libappindicator (or rather libayatana-appindicator in your case) and I'd tend to blame...
I'm not aware of such an issue from Ubuntu 22.04 users either. From the warnings and errors it's pretty clear that the systray plugin crashes. No obvious root cause, but...
A notification every few seconds means that the device goes to sleep pretty much immediately whenever there is no movement? What model is that?
Unrelated to this, related to mypy 1.11, fixed with :crossed_fingers: in #2437
