Configure additional fields per work item type to show during estimation (e.g., Acceptance Criteria)
The new format is great, however, it would be great if we could see the Acceptance Criteria as well as the description while efforting.
I second that. The Acceptance Criteria add a fair amount of info going into the estimation. At least in our case.
I've updated the title to be more generic, I can't detect Acceptance Criteria, it would have to be a configuration option, similar to the field to use for storing the estimation value.
Sounds good to me. I thought the Acceptance Criteria in Azure DevOps Boards are a standard property that is easily accessable in code. Thanks for the quick response.
Nothing prevents people from modifying the work item types and adding or removing (hiding) fields, including the ones that the MSFT templates provide so it's hard to make any assumptions about what fields are used on different work item types.
This one is very important as estimation depends on the acceptance criteria for us. I did manage to get it to show by setting the Story field from Story Points to Acceptance Criteria, but it appears in html format, not nicely formatted in the UI. It would be helpful if by default this field appeared like the description on any item that has the field.
Although I'm unable to help / contribute I'm certainly interested in having the Acceptance Criteria field added to the Estimate session. Any chance this is something easy to implement @cschleiden ?

Acceptance Criteria is Key for us also. In our case it's even more paramount than the PBI Description

Is there any update on this? We will be able to configure the fields. We are mostly interested in Acceptance Criteria.
Would be very interested in this feature also. Currently only the top field is shows in the Estimate extension, but it would be great if this could be extended to either multiple fields (e.g. top 3) or via a choice in the set-up menu of an Estimate session.
Is there any update on this , though modification to a generic text helps , but it is a issue when we want to groom backlogs , I suppose if we can get the configuration option it would be very help ful
I would love to have this feature. Now I add additional information in the description that I have to remove after estimation. Highly recommended
