Cursor lost upon opening a file

I am finding that I lose the cursor when I open a file with file navigator. I initially thought that this may have something to do with Vintageous plugin, but it occurs even when Vintageous is disabled.

I have this issue too. ST3 build 3059, Ubuntu Linux 14.04 x64

It seems like I was able to resolve the issue in ST3. Made pull request to this repo.
