Missing electronic privacy and civil liberty based fears

(Originally this was about Giuliani who was rumored to be AG, but has seemingly lost that position. His stances on encryption and technology are still echoed in this administration and should be addressed especially as a means of potential communication when protests and disent are already being deemed terrorist actions) He's going to be in charge of some fucked up shit and has no clue what he's doing. This needs some information on being prepared for new levels of digital invasiveness and lost privacy.

I will begin with the following suggestions:

• donating to EFF
• familiarizing yourself with tor, signal, VPNs, ???
• call representatives in support of encryption because they largely don't understand it

Don't get mistaken for "the cyber", kids!
