All sessions get deleted

Up to very recently I didn't have this problem, but very often it's being the case that all sessions will reset. Specifically the following will happen: I use the desktop app and I have a session open. I'll switch session and nothing happens, that is the times in the time list won't change, even if they should be different because I've just switched sessions. If I close and reopen the app all the times will be gone. This is extremely annoying.

Besides, is there a way to manually change the backup frequency? This would help make this issue impact me less, but obviously should not be the main solution to the problem.
