Prevents scheduled system shut down

My iMac is scheduled to shut down every night to conserve power and be nice to the environment.

Every morning Macs Fan Control tells me it could not shut down properly, and the shutdown process is blocked.

Just checked on Sonoma & Ventura - scheduled shutdown via

sudo shutdown -h +1

with the app running works fine.

I'm on Catalina 10.15.7

A scheduled shutdown does not work.

"sudo shutdown -h" will kill everything anyway, and avoids all warnings that might otherwise be issued

Not something I would use for a scheduled shutdown.
