Existing WebDAV connection not listed in Cloud-Services->WebDAV

Open StanoRiga opened this issue 6 months ago • 2 comments

Summary

I have a WebDAV connection set up and it is not shown in the Cloud Services Tab.

Please agree to the following

System Setup

  • iOS: 18.5
  • Cryptomator: 2.7.1 (1367)
  • Nextcloud (if this is important)

Cloud Type

WebDAV

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Setup a new WebDAV connection
  2. Make sure the connection works, for example by unlocking a vault
  3. Check Connections in Settings and see an empty list

Expected Behavior

After I have set up a WebDav connection I would like to see it in Settings -> Cloud Services, so I can select it if I want to add more Vaults from this connection

Actual Behavior

(Disclaimer: I haven't had this before with my Owncloud WebDAV connection. I now have moved 2 vaults to Nextcloud)

I wanted to add 2 existing Vaults from my Nextcloud storage to the app. So I followed the process for vault #1 by adding a WebDav connection, selecting the vault, etc. Everything went fine, I was able to unlock the vault and see my files. I then wanted to add the second vault from the same storage, and to my surprise the just added WebDav connection was not provided. Also the arrow image that points to the "+" is not shown. I checked the settings and here also the list was empty. However I have an unlocked vault with that connection and I a able to see my files in it. So I started the "add existing vault" process again for my second vault, and added the exact same WebDAV connection again. Again without any problems, I can unlock the second vault too. But still no existing WebDAV connection shown in the Cloud Service WebDAV list. So its not a big deal, because I do not have to add new vaults frequently, but nevertheless its a bug (at least I think so).

  2. The empty connection list Image

Reproducibility

Always

You are absolutely right. I noticed this bug at some point as well. Maybe due to switching my iPhone. But didn't really look into it and somehow found a workaround. 🙈 Can you please check the log files if there is an error message?

Hi Tobi. Yes, I may have found something. I'll send you a link to the logs.
