System Setup

  • iOS: iOS 15.3
  • Cryptomator: 2.1.0 (800)
  • Read-only mode

Cloud Type

No response

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Long press file in Files app
  2. Select "Share"
  3. Select "Mail"

Expected Behavior

New draft in Mail with the file as an attachment.

Actual Behavior

New draft in Mail without any attachments.

Reproducibility

Always

Relevant Log Output

No response

Anything else?

"Attach file" inside Mail doesn't work either.

On another device with "Full Version", there aren't any issues.

Furthermore, other apps like Messages seem to work despite read-only mode.

Workaround

With iOS 16

Copy the file and paste it inside a new draft in Mail.

Before iOS 16

Copy the file to "On My iPhone/iPad" and then share it from there. But this is less than ideal. When working with sensitive files, you'd have to make sure to delete the local copy afterwards (also check out "Recently Deleted").

Hello,

I use an iPhone XR, IOS version 16.7 and Cryptomator version 2.4.9 (free version).

Unfortunately, I cannot share a file, regardless of whether it is a mail app, Whatsapp or others. Workaround 1 doesn't work for me, even though IOS version 16.7.

Workaround 2 works perfectly, but it is quite time-consuming to copy twice. Is there already information about possible bug fixes here?

Thanks in advance!
