Editing text files

As a user I might like to edit plaintext files, so that I don't have to use other apps to perform simple changes.

Any chance that it could be added soon? This bug is open for more than 1 year now...

If the app would have been fully open source PR could have been done for those kind of features...

Super useful for platform compatibility, e.g. Windows and iOS. I can use Pages on iPhone to edit text but to work with Pages files on Windows an annoying workaround is to be applied.
