Abstract and author note are included in table of contents when using apa7 document class

When using the apa7 document class in conjunction with a table of contents, abstract and author note are included in the toc (which is not the case when using the apa6 document class). The problem also only occurs when using manuscript-style output, with document-style or journal-style output, these are not included.

Expected behavior I would expect that abstract and author note are not included in the toc, which would be consistent with the behavior shown by the apa6 document class.

I wanted to ask if a solution to this bug already exists, and if so, I'd like to ask for a link to it. I have also run into this problem and would like to bump this issue.
