Post-level templates should fall back on Page-level templates

It would be useful to have post-level template files, like excerpt/ and content/ fall back on page context if no post context file is found. For example, this would allow for content/single.php to pull that template file on single pages.

So to be more precise, the request is for the Post context to also cycle through the General context before selecting the *-default.php file.

This sounds like a reasonable request with few (if any) bad side effects.
