I think the reason the `-t` flag is there in the first place is in order to set the envelope-sender.

Having looked into this a bit more, it doesn't look like localised stemming would resolve the Norweigian example given above. 'finans' is not returning results because xapian is using whole...

Just to note that when this originally occurred, it seemed like capitalization might not be the issue - might instead be some transient issue with search results.
