I have no experience with javascript. The regexMatches flags are not explained under the $vars button. I couldn't find any regexMatches documentation on the Firebot documentation website. So yes I was pretty clueless. But you helped a lot,

there is nothing in the regex variable that says you need to use regex standard flags for the flags
