How to build and test CNCF projects?

Hi, guys, I have successfully get the example running on GKE(running the image registry.cncf.ci/cncf/cross-cloud/provisioning:ci-stable-v0-2-0 ), got a Kubernetes cluster installed. And how can I build and test CNCF projects? Are there some other images doing the job?
