Again - not advocating this as a long-term solution, but would writing "PayPal" in the payment memo section (or the deposit notes section) be sufficient? 
It would also be nice to have the build script write the current `HEAD` to the `--version` output of the various commands.
It's a bit ambiguous whether this is actually a bug. What if some organizations want inactive families to still receive a newsletter? It depends on how places are handling inactive...
