Cannot update from 1.1.3

I tried to update and install version 1.2.1, but on opening the "NanoVault-1.2.1.dmg" on my MacBook, it states that it cannot be installed because the OS cannot verify there is no malware. Is there something else to download to show the OS that this download is verified/trustworthy?
