[Feature Request] Add support for BAD and similar subsystems
Basic Abstract difficulty from the GURPS action series is a very useful GM tool. Basically, BAD translates to enemies having higher SL and sometimes attributes than normal. Currently in the game aid this would require multiple copies of a given enemy,or editing attributes. However what I propose is some kind of status marker or similar, lets say a star, one, two three, four, 5, etc stars can be put as a status on an enemy token, and this could appear as a modifier in their bucket as well, with a modifier value equal to the number of stars. This denotes the enemy as being a higher BAD, or an elite, or whatever, which is just in this case a bonus to their skill rolls (and potentially resistances, whatever else the GM decides it applies to). I think this relatively simple to implement as it leverages existing subsystems.
Nice idea. Perhaps also allow for negative values - effectively allowing, say, +/-5 to the base?
I second this idea, I use a lot of rules from Action and it's definitely a great one to have for GGA.
I use the BAD / Action rules for Cyberspace Hacking / Netrunning. Would be great to have this!
Ok, I've added the BAD icons to the status list. At least it is a visual reminder. We can do more once we get the active effect code finished.
