[Enhancement] Split DR - parsing comma-separated damage type lists from GCS/GCA
The new Split DR is excellent, and covers having a varied DR for several different types of damage out of the box.
However, right now it seems that you have to enter one item to the armor for each type of damage you want to vary, for each location. This can lead to a lot of items, especially for armors that have slipt DR vs. the four piercing damage types, which occurs rather often in SciFi armors.
Id like to request that it becomes possible to enter a comma-separated list of damage types that gets varied, and that GGA turns these into the individual items it needs as part of the import.
Can you create a GCA or GCS character with such armor, and zip up the .gca4 or .gcs file and attach it here? Since you can manually do this now in the GGA by bringing up the Editor, and adding a new Split for each armor type.
The image is of how the character appears in Foundry when I import it - it has a long row of DR's and AFAICT it's working in the system vs. the given damage types (cut and all the pi's ... now I'm hungry ... ). The character is in the zip, the system woun't let me attach a .gcs file directly.
As for the editing in Foundry, this only lets me add one extra DR AFAICT. Here there are 6.
It's basically that I'd like this:
instead of this:
@Battenhatch It doesn't completely solve your issue but the editor in Foundry GGA allows you to enter multiple DRs. Just click the '+' button to add another row.
Question: do you need to see all the DRs by default, or could we "hide" all but the first one and allow you to see the individual DRs somehow, such as hover text? It doesn't really look very good right now.
multiple DR's: At my end it only allows me one extra DR value (eg. "pi-"). When this is entered, there is no "+" any more, only a bucket to delete the entered value.
Hover to see details would be fine. I agree that the long row is not very nice, visually.
