Allow non-letter symbols in the shortcuts

I would like to map Ctrl + { and Ctrl + } to Previous Tab and Next Tab via Brave Settings > Shortcuts but the input field for setting the shortcut says "Type a letter" and does not allow me to type symbols like {, }, [, and ].
