I just wanted to disable command+t and some other shortcuts but seems does not work.

As a part of this exercise I did restart the browser but didn't help

I am on Big Sur v.11.4 and Chrome v.91.0.4472.164

I also tried https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/disable-keyboard-shortcut/aidbmcboeighgdnilpdljbedbbiocphj which didn't also work for me, I wanted to disable Command + Option + F which brings the Search the Web...

However here is a trick that did work for me https://superuser.com/a/931852

I can confirm that this is also not working for me on mac. The Extension itself displays as grayed-out in the extensions menu in Chrome 105.0.5195.125 / macOS 12.6 (21G115) Monterey.

It does allow me to make shortcuts like the ones kuncevic demonstrated but none of them trigger events. I set mine to open bookmarks because Chrome 99 broke my macOS-native keyboard shortcuts. menu-grayed-out

some shortcuts are hard-coded and will not — can not — be overridden until browser is recompiled without them. they are intercepted and executed before userChrome gets to even know them

both chrome and firefox have this problem
