munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer

Hi Crest team,

I was planning on running some QCG calculations with Crest 2.12. Sadlly i get the following error:

munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer

I was running https://crest-lab.github.io/crest-docs/page/examples/qcg/example_1.html in an otherwise empty directory.

Do you know what causes this? And if youre going to suggest compiling the current Crest version from source, im sorry to say thats outside my abilities. Any chance for a new version on conda anytime soon?

Hi Erikna, in Crest 2.12 there was a QCG bug, sometimes causing this problem. If you cannot compile the crest from the source code, you might use the continous release version. There, many problems have already been fixed.
