रु (Nepali Rupees) currency sign isn't being displayed in PDFs when English language is used

Describe the bug रु (Nepali Rupees) currency sign isn't being displayed in PDFs when English language is used. Since it's a PDF I'm unable to confirm if it's a Unicode issue or whether an ::before or :after pseudo element is being used to display the Icon that doesn't exists.

Expected behavior An icon should display if no icon a Unicode Character should be placed as a failover
