Inspect part of network

I understand that it is not allowed to load more than 500 contacts. However, I wonder if it would be possible to mitigate the impact of this by selecting which contacts to load.

Ideally I would say show me 'all employees of company x in country y, and their close contacts'. But if that is difficult, even just being able to get 'user with id z and their close contacts' would enable one to explore their network step by step.
