Eth6 reset procedure?

Open DanAustinGH opened this issue 4 years ago • 4 comments

I'm hoping there are enough Ceton users here that someone might know how to force an eth6, or any unit for that matter, to flush the channel lineup cache. Searching online has not found anything...

I bought a used unit. I have 240 channels in my package, but the used unit already has 900 channels from the previous owners provider. Filtering out those extra, unavailable, channels is proving a huge pain...

If you access the IP address of the Ceton, I believe there is an option to flush the lineup.

Edit: Just checked. It's under the CableCard menu at the top.

Now I feel like an idiot. On the version I have it is on the bottom. An below a large section of blank space so it did not appear to have anything else on the page.

You have no idea how big a deal this is to me. It make the testing of the code in the Linux post that much easier, meaning the release will come sooner....

Oh believe me, we've all been there. I'm excited that this is coming to Python. My Windows 7 MCE VM's days are numbered... LOL.
