I've seen this problem come and go on my system as I've updated PHP versions... not sure what is causing it and I (unfortunately) cannot seem to reproduce it right...

1.9.8 works with PHP 8 now.

I believe this was due to WebCalendar not properly supporting PHP 8 at the time. Give v.1.9.8 a try.

What version are you using. I am unable to reproduce this in v1.9.9.
