Add a Content plugin for display of a calendar (week/month/year)
Hi,
it would be great if there was also a Content plugin for display of a calendar in month/week/year style with category selection built in. I might even make one myself since I need it.
This is one of my maijor wishes of postcalendar. I am usoing this feature heavily to sort the items inside my content based page.
Might be a copy of the normal blocks are good starting point. They are looking ok so far.
I would like to know more about this request. I'm not a Content user so it is hard for me to visualize what functionality you would like. I was under the impression that Content could display a module controller function. Doesn't this suffice? If not, please explain why and what you would like it to do instead.

What I want to have is a very similar behavior than TimeIt. In TimeIt you can add a content block with the selection of upcomming events. The following fields are available:
- Widget title
- caregory selection (multiselection of several categories or if nothing selected all categories).
- Number of events to be shown
- How many days ahead to query for upcoming events
- active (as usual in content)
- Visible for (the group who can see this plugin as usual in content)
and if possible I want to have also the possibility to type in an alternative template (like news made it)
If you use the normal block you have to create this blocks outside of content and type in the block-id in content. I our case we have at 25 subpages an own selection of categories. This would be very uncomfortable.
@rallek I believe this is already possible. You would use the 'Calendar' contenttype. Please investigate and see if this meets your needs.

When the is site is upgraded to zk1.3 and the new PC I want to make at least Content plugins for year views. And also a variant that should a year in advance from the current month onwards. For reserverations you dont need to know the past, only future. With options of skipping certain monts (down season stuff for camping like nov-feb orso).
Hi, followup on this. I'm in the process of upgrading to Zk1.3 and also PC that is. I will prob make a Content plugin(s) for our site and hand them over to craig when done.
