[Tweening] Improvements to the tweening library

We have a tweening library in Extended. It's kinda cool but sometimes I get the feeling it's too complicated. One of the things I'd like to consider for the next release is making it much simpler. I've seen a few other tweening libraries around that take a more functional approach.
