Issue with Sub-Text Field on Navigation Menu After CKEditor Conversion

Open Selvavinoth1 opened this issue 1 year ago • 10 comments

Description

We wanted to raise this issue we've encountered after converting fields from the Reactor plugin to CKEditor. The sub-text field is not displaying on the navigation menu. While it appears correctly in the field settings and is linked to CKEditor as expected, it is not showing up on the navigation menu itself. However, the data is correctly displayed on the front end since it is being fetched from the database.

At the moment, we're unable to modify the existing data on the menu. We are investigating this further and will keep you updated. sub-text-not-showing image

Steps to reproduce

  1. Login to the dashboard
  2. Select the navigation menu
  3. Edit the menu
  4. Unable to see the sub-text field

Additional info

  • Craft version: 4.11.1
  • PHP version: 8.2
  • Database driver & version: MySQL 8.0.35
  • Plugins & versions: 3.8.9

Hi, thanks for getting in touch! Do you see any errors in the console when you edit the “Our Approach” element in the control panel? Have you tried clearing application caches (control panel > Utilities > Caches?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes, we have already tried clearing the caches but cannot add the text field.

We didn't even get the field for text to update the content and no errors were generated related to this issue on the console log. image

Thanks! I am not able to reproduce this. Could you please send your composer.json, composer.lock and database export to [email protected] so we can try to reproduce and dig deeper?

Thanks for your reply! We're unable to provide the database backup since it's one of our client sites, please let us know if any alternative way to identify the issues and apply the fixes.

How about sending over the composer.json, composer.lock and config/project directory?

Hi Team,

We have created separate admin login details and shared the same with your support email address in couple of weeks back but still no update from your team. Please check and proceed with the investigation.
