As the package evolves the manifest-publisher might not be as self-describing as it should be.
I also think that at some point this package could be merged into the box project, but that requires the revision of the project. Looking at the original phar library behind box, there is a note which mentions that it will be eventually deprecated in favor of another. Maybe we could joint that process.
Definitely up for merging this project if the maintainer is amenable.
@kherge I would be curious to get your thoughts since you are the man behind Box, Phar Update, and phine/lib-phar.
The tl;dr; is that this project automatically generates and publishes the manifest.json file to various locations, right now only GitHub Pages. Not sure if you want to keep this separate or find a way to roll it into either one of the repositories mentioned above.
As I can see the lib currently supports only Github, not just as a target, but as a source as well. The changes I outlined would make things a bit different (removes the github lock-in) which makes this library NO. 1 extension for Box, which IMO makes it possible to think about merging it into the main project.
