This project is valuable, the stakeholder is @cpipero and i am maintainer. Of Couse, initail purpose for a project is secondary scool education tool, you can use it as cross platform designer and translator. I will add instruction for windows, looks for me trivial.

1. install arduino ide
2. instal mono
3. install gtksharp
4. xbuild ArduinoLadder
5. Configure path to ArduinoIDE and device port in ArduinoLadder.config in output build folder
6. Run ArduinoLadder.exe from explorer of from command line with: mono ArduinoLadder.exe

Please ask stakeholder it is possible to add required features or give a feedback to setup feature sprint.
