@mesejo It looks like you're running with the default backend (DuckDB) which won't exhibit this problem. If you add ```python ibis.set_backend("pandas") ``` just after `import ibis` you'll see the failure.
Closing this out for now. This is an interesting idea, but it needs some API design work.
