[Feature Request]: selectable progress effect more suitable for led matrix panels

What would you like implemented?

I am using a WLED Matrix panel, and it would be nice to have a progress effect that is more suited for a matrix panel. Or maybe make it a selectable effect from WLED itself, but i don't think there are currently default effects with something like trigger points in wled.
