line numbers don't disappears under toolbar

To Reproduce

line numbers are enabled, scroll down, text disappears under toolbar blur, but line numbers remain clear

Thank you for the feedback. I wasn't aware of this issue and confirmed it occurs when the navigation bar is hidden.

However, I also realized it requires the change of the view structure which is not easy. I'll address the issue but it may take time.

This issue will be fixed in macOS 26.2 (I confirmed it in macOS 26.2 Beta).

Humm, unfortunately, the behavior on macOS 26.2 seems to be unstable. Sometimes, the scroll edge effect becomes soft, while at other times, it becomes hard.

For me on macOS 26.2, the whole toolbar is still too transparent and distracting when the navigation bar is hidden. Your screenshot above in https://github.com/coteditor/CotEditor/issues/1938#issuecomment-3532591570 is much better.
