CotEditor Integration with ChatGPT App

Current issue

I use the annoying TextEdit when working with ChatGPT because it has this nice integration feature with the ChatGPT app. This feature is currently not available for CotEditor.

The solution you'd like

I would be happy if the integration with ChatGPT App would also work with CotEditor, like the integration with TextEdit.

Could you please elaborate on what you anticipate for the integration of the ChatGPT App? I’m not quite sure what you mean by it.

CotEditor already has a feature that allows users to access ChatGPT integrated into macOS. This is the same feature used in TextEdit.app.

I have looked into it; however, I think unless CotEditor is in the list of supported apps for this feature, this might not be possible to implement.

Sorry, for my late answer, I was busy. Thanks to @aybarsnazlica, He's right with his assessment, that's exactly what I meant. I had understood the paragraph "How does it works" from the article linked above to mean that an API must be active in the respective application. But I certainly misunderstood that I have no idea about programming. Thanks for your efforts anyway.
