Use of service workers for all API calls

Honestly not really needed currently(effort - result ratio is too low) but might become mandatory if more cutting edge real-time & extensively parsed/refined data is needed. However multi-threading for api calls should most likely be a plus. Knock yourselves out if you're up to the task
