automake is required.

Thanks for spotting this!

It's a bug that automake is required to compile - it shouldn't be. Do you have output logs that show the error if automake is not available? (if you have the time, please open an issue for this)

@cosmos72 thanks for the great project!

Unfortunately I don't. But I was running it on a fresh copy of Linux Mint 20, and it didn't work without automake. I backed out of doing the conversion, but I might try again later at which point I'll have the same error and the logs.
