Memory usage keeps increasing after every opening

Bug Description

When clicking on the applet, the memory usage goes up (around 300 mb on average) while the manager is displayed. After closing it, it goes back to the original usage, except that it keeps increasing after every opening on the applet

For example, on idle the applet consumes 141.16 MB, on opening goes up to 240 MB, and when closed it goes back to... 158 MB. Rinse and repeat, and I got it on 300 MB on idle. (The numbers in the video attached are different)

Expected Result

No increase in memory usage whatsoever.

Steps to Reproduce

1- Install the clipboard manager applet 2- Open up a system monitor app 3- Open and close the manager applet
