CSV Import not populating record selector inputs
I am in the process of migrating all of my accounts over from my old CRM to Corteza
I have added all of the leads/accounts and now trying to import events/notes etc.
I added a dummy note and then exported it to get all of the field names. I then added my notes using the relevant fields. The issue I am finding though is that the notes are not being attributed to the relevant leads/accounts.
Focusing on Leads just now when adding notes manually, they are attributed to a lead by selecting the relevant lead from the dropdown Record Selector.
I am adding the Lead name to the CSV as shown in in the record selector but when I import the Notes and then view, the lead section is blank. when I view the lead, there are no notes added
the same is true for any imports where a record selector is used, Corteza seems to import all information but misses that out, There can be hundreds of notes and to go through them all and manually add the record will take for ever
Hi @PaulMcF1987, you're right, currently, we can't import fields type record as we don't have an option to keep a reference. @tjerman would your magical importer be able to help sort this out?
I really need this functionality also, I'm happy to contribute to the migration guide. I'm moving my uncle over from ACT! and this record selector issue from CSV is a real drawback. I'm on 2021.3
Sorry, but we haven't implemented that bit yet; I'll look around a bit to see if we can have it done in the near future.
Hello, is there any update on this? It would be really nice to be able to use the UI to migrate from a different CRM to Corteza.
