Raw Amplitude View Not showing Up
Hi,
I am trying to utilize the raw amplitude view in Phy2. I have recordings sorted with KS2 and have previously used the raw amplitude view to curate my clusters. After switching computers and reinstalling phy2, I have been unable to find the Raw amplitude view. I have the raw recording in the same file directory as the npy files.
Anyone know what I am missing? or Why I cannot find this view?
Thanks, Phil
Thanks @pstarski (for your response on the other issue)
It works by commenting out these two lines https://github.com/cortex-lab/phy/blob/8166fbef6dc8e710912f2be4722621e13ae6d292/phy/apps/base.py#L1370
For the record, after digging in the code, the different amplitude types seem to mean:
-
"template" : Scaling of template (amplitudes.npy from kilosort. The decision criteria for spike selection)
-
"raw": the maximum amplitude of the raw waveforms on the best channel of the first selected cluster.
-
"template_feature": "the template features of the requested spikes onto the first selected cluster.
This is "the dot product (projection) of each spike waveform onto the template of the first cluster." See @mswallac's comment at https://github.com/cortex-lab/phy/issues/868#issuecomment-520032905"
