Feature request: customize backoff parameters

Currently backoff restart parameters (min/max/multiplier) are constants. Did you consider extracting that configuration into the modd.conf file?

In my particular case I'd like constant restart policy since 8 seconds after couple of typos that caused couple of restart failures are just way too long

Yes i've noticed this also. Would what be a nice way to configure it? all parameters configurable or only max? thru argument or config files? both?

I'm running into the exact same issue with the 8 seconds backoff and would love to disable the backoff as well.

I would like to wait after an error for a new file change. Is it possible today?
